Team Dr Kerry Bell

Dr Kerry Bell is an Assistant Professor at York Trials Unit, Department of Health Sciences, University of York. Kerry joined the University of York in 2006 as an undergraduate in Psychology and went on to complete a Masters in Cognitive Neuroscience alongside a Research Assistant post in Psycholinguistics. She then joined the Department of Health Sciences in 2010 having been awarded a prestigious NIHR CLAHRC Scholarship to undertake a PhD. Her doctoral research explored the relationship between maternal mental health and child developmental outcomes. Kerry has a particular interest in child health, education and wellbeing and has been involved in twelve trials to date in this field as well as numerous others in the wider health context. Kerry offers substantial expertise in trial design and delivery, particularly with regards to delivering randomised controlled trials within educational settings.
